Things are going good

Mommy will be in her 7th week tomorrow. Your due date so far unless the Dr. Changes it is on April 10 2006. So far after mommy found out she was pregnant she got some morning sickness and very tired during the day. My appetite picked up some even with feeling nauseated at times. Mommy chest has started to get sore the last past week or so and since mommy got into week 6 the morning sickness is a lot worse but that's all fine with mommy for its a good sign to me that everything is going well and if anything like with your brother it will be gone by the 12th to 14th week. Mommy has already had a couple of cravings it seems like so far Chinese is our favorite thing to eat.
Mommy has been reading on her baby calendar how you have been growing. This week your heart started to beat and you will triple is size to about an quarter of an inch long, by the end of the week. Your limbs begin to develop, but at this stage they look more like fins with bumps at the ends than the adorable arms, legs, fingers, and toes they'll later become.

Telling the Family

On the same day mommy found out about you she called your Grandma Dawn later that day to let her know about her 4th grandchild on the way. Grandma was very excited about the news and let your you Grandpa Bob , Uncle Thomas , and Aunt Doni know the good news . Mommy also called your Aunt Jessica and let her know the good news to , she has two boys that will be your cousin's. Your daddy let your Grandpa and Grandma McLain know and they told your Uncle Seth. That very day after daddy got home and found out we told your brother that he was to be a Big Brother. Your Big brother is only 2 right now so he does not know what all the means but when mommy talks about you or looks at things for you he likes to look and ask questions about them. Your going to have a great big brother :)

The Big Surprise

Mommy just started this journal today for you. Some quick little notes of when mommy found out and how mommy felt. After a couple months of mommy and daddy trying to add to our family of 3 , we found out the good news on August the 1st at around 4:30ish am. Mommy woke up early that Monday and could not wait any longer so I ran upstairs and took the test. A min later there it was a "positive" on the digital test. Mommy was so happy when she read those words. I felt a lot of joy and a little I just cant believe it feeling. The first person to know was your daddy, and I didn't even have to tell him. When daddy got off of work ( daddy works nights) he was able to tell already with all the smiles mommy had. Daddy looked at mommy and said your pregnant aren't you ? and I said yes we are. Daddy was very happy about the news. That day mommy called the doctors and got a positive from them the following day that I was indeed pregnant and set up the first visit to come in. Which mommy and daddy are still waiting to go to . Our first Dr. Appointment is on August the 31st at 9:20 am and we get a u/s that day to see you . Mommy and daddy cant wait .
